Framing Options for Limited Edition Prints

The full guide

Canvas, Stretched and Framed

Pros: A very popular option as it looks just like an original artwork. The canvas is printed, stretched and framed in the same way as our originals. Perfect for larger statement pieces!

Cons: Not so fabulous for smaller artworks as the details are a little lost. I naturally paint quite BIG so reducing them down to a small size means cotton rag is better for this.

Cotton Rag / Fine Art Paper

My personal preference in fine art printing is cotton rag. A really crappy name for such a premium product. The colour pigmentation and details are second to none. The weave of the paper is so fine that it captures all the little details. Perfect for sizes under 900cm, but here's a 100cm artwork print of Wildflowers of the Valley in my studio.

Cons: There will be a limitation in how large of a piece of glass you can have from your framers. I think that it is about 1.2m as a standard. After that, you'll need to go with a perspex option. Another con is that we can't frame this for you, as we can't ship glass. Head down to your local framer for a quote and support their very specialised trade <3
