We are back on The Block!

'Dancing in the Sky' has just made its debut as a feature wallpaper on The Block, featured in Ben and Emma’s kids’ room! Eeeek! I have to take this opportunity to thank Em & Ben for reaching out and choosing a local independent artist for their special space - very cool!

You know what else is cool? How far a positive ripple effect can travel. We all have the power to affect change and make a positive impact and I feel grateful to share throughout August, we are donating 10% of all prints sold to Billie’s Besties in support of NICU families and Red Rose Australia.

Having my artwork featured during Kids' Bedroom Week, alongside Dan and Dani’s story and my own connection to NICU, made it feel right to be part of this. Art, after all, transcends beauty. Art embodies humanity, community, and the capacity to genuinely impact people's lives.

And yes… we're currently finalising the development of our first ever wallpaper collection. We’re working on it behind the scenes and I can’t wait to share more. If you’d like to be the first to know when it’s ready, drop your details in the pop-up.

Supporting The Women's NICU

This year, The Block is shining a light on Billie’s Besties, a beautiful initiative created by Dan and Dani in honour of their daughter Billie, who passed away at just 10 days old. Their story has touched so many and is raising vital funds for NICU teams around Australia.

As a mum who spent time in NICU with my own son, this cause really hits home. Dancing in the Sky was made to be shared, named in light of loss, featured during Kids’ Bedroom Week. Its a part of my values as a person to be intentional about contributing to our community transcending art itself. So throughout August, 10% of all prints sold will be donated to Billie’s Besties.

The Journey Behind "Dancing in the Sky"

Every artwork I create begins with a story. This one started with Jackie Milne, a dear friend and one of my earliest supporters. Years ago, she and her husband Craig commissioned a piece inspired by my eucalyptus collection. It still hangs in their hallway today.

That first artwork became a bit of a quiet icon. Jackie’s photos of it sparked so many questions over the years, but it was always a one-of-a-kind. So when the chance came to create a second piece for their bedroom that we could share with you, it felt completely right. Jackie and I swapped colours and ideas, and I began painting. The first version didn’t quite land. So I started again.

The final artwork was bold, deep, and joyful. A perfect match for their home and hearts. I named it Dancing in the Sky to honour a lost family member. A special way to keep him close to their hearts for years to come.

And now, that same artwork lives on as wallpaper in Ben and Emma’s kids’ room on The Block. From one home to another. New stories, new memories. I'm so grateful to Jackie and Craig, and to Ben and Emma, The Block's Dan & Dani & Grafico for letting this piece carry so much meaning forward.

If Dancing in the Sky has found a place in your heart, you can bring it home as a limited edition print. Additionally, for the whole month of August, 10% of all prints sold will be donated to Billie’s Besties in honour of the families and little ones cared for in the Women's NICU.

Because we know you're wondering...

Not exactly. Dancing in the Sky was a special one-off piece created just for Ben and Emma’s room on The Block. But... wallpaper is coming.

We’re working on a full range of brand new designs (inspired by my original artworks) and it’s going to be worth the wait. You can pop your details in the pop-up to be the first to know when it’s ready.

Yes! Dancing in the Sky is available as a limited edition print. And during August, 10% of every order will be donated to support Billie’s Besties.

Yes please do. It’s such an incredible cause to support, and every bit helps NICU teams and families doing it tough. You can donate directly here if you'd like to give outside of your order.

Wallpaper - A Sneak Peak

If you've come this far, you'll be the first to see our sneak peak of some things ive been working on for our wallpaper release.

I have been working behind the scenes on my skills in surface pattern design for over two years. I think our studio gets an enquiry for wallpaper at least 3 times a week consistently! There's quite alot that goes into it, and I really wanted them to be all handpainted and special so it's not here yet, but heres some BTS images to keep you going!

This concept with 7 colour ways has been developed and based on the iconic banksia and all the places it thrives in Australia. Each colourway has a different mood and evokes a different feeling based on the landscape it was inspired by. Register your interest in the contact form in the bottom left if this sounds like something you would love!

I am set to release several designs, but we can't show you them all today...They're not quite finished cooking x
