Outbloom Original Artwork
Thoughts behind this piece: My sister used to play & make me sing "The Rose" performed by Bette Midler and written by Amanda McBroom in 1970-something. My interpretation of the last lines are about perseverance, patience and it reminds me that nurtured areas of my life bloom.
"When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed
That with the sun’s love, in the spring
Becomes the rose"
Size: 40 cm x 40 cm
Medium: Acrylic paint on canvas, stretched on timber, ready to hang.
Framing: Framing in an oak box/floating frame has been quoted at $160 through our supplier. If you would like to include framing for your artwork, please add a note to the order at checkout. Different timbers/colours available, just ask! We will issue an invoice via email separately.
Shipping: Automatically applied at the checkout. Please allow 6 weeks for courier delivery within Australia.
Please note that the timber frame in the picture has been digitally applied to provide a visual representation of the artwork with a frame and the artwork within a space.
