Sale Questions, answered

All your sale questions answered here!

What are the sale dates?

Our Milestone Sale is live from the 24th June to the 7th of July.

Delivery Times

Due to overwhelming sale demand, delivery times during the sale period are longer than usual:

5 Weeks Dispatch - Rolled artworks are shipped straight from our studio & workshop in Mornington Peninsula, VIC.

8-10 Weeks Dispatch - Custom framed artworks are a little on the longer side for custom framing. They are all custom handmade to order so this takes a bit of time.

Will sold-out pieces be restocked during the sale?

Nope — each edition is strictly limited. Once it sells out, it’s gone forever. We don’t restock or reprint past editions. Every order is ticketed and tracked and accounted.

I can't select framing on the Artwork?

If the framing cannot be selected here, it is because the artwork is sold out on canvas in this size/material. We don't restock limited edition artworks - once they are sold out they are sold out forever.

In the screenshot example, this artwork is available on fine art paper. You can check out some info below on how to frame this style of artwork.

Larger than 1.4m Artwork Framing

You've found the perfect artwork, and its bigger than 1.4m - but you can't select framing...
The maximum size we can ship framed is 1.4m at this stage. This is due to both limitations with couriers in Australia for long distances and the increasing risk of damage in transit. You are more than welcome to reach out for help or alternatively here is some info to tell your local framer on the exact specs we use (See photo)

Fine Art Paper Framing

Here's a photo of Eclipse, Printed on Cotton Rag / Fine Art Paper Framed in Oak.

A couple of notes regading this framing:
It is highly customisable to look however you feel! In this photo, We've used Art glass mounted to foam core and framed in Oak.

Common Questions, Answered

What is a limited edition print?

Each limited edition print at Steph Brooke Studio is part of a carefully curated, finite collection. This means only a set number of prints are created in each size and material. Once an edition is sold out, they’re gone forever and will never be reprinted.

This makes your artwork special for a few reasons; first of all not absolutely everyone will have it! It makes sure your home is uniquely you and your treasured and collected artwork isn't a trend. Its a forever love, and its special. You're 1 of 20 people who have that sized edition artwork in the world.

Each edition comes with a signed certificate of authenticity marking its number (ie. 8/20) verifying its exclusivity & value.

What do the framing timbers look like?

Heres a photo!

TOP: White
MIDDLE UPPER: Black
MIDDLE LOWER: Blackwood
BOTTOM: Oak

I'm a little reluctant to put these pictures on every artwork page because natural raw mateirals like timber come with a variation in tone. It's got to do with the age of the timber and how much oxygen has been exposed it.

When timbers are freshly milled, they are lighter in colour and as they age naturally they become slightly darker. So while we can use the same species and do our best to show you, there are no two trees the same and there will be variations in the natural material.

Good news! Theres an easy fix for this if you would like to see the exact colour - pop in and support your local framer (preferably a small business) and have a look in person. You'll be able to customise your timbers to exactly your taste. We will always advocate for small businesses in your community and this is a win-win situation for all. You get to see your framing timber in person, and your community framer is supported by your business.

Shipping Rolled Artworks / Shipping Internationally

Here's a video of how we pack and ship your rolled artworks. It's the safest way for artwork to travel - the end!

Just kidding. We wrap your artwork in cellophane to protect it from scratching. Then it goes into a 100mm tube where we push the cellophane into the artwork to protect the edged from creasing during transit. We then seal the tube with end caps and tape to protect it from the outside elements. We've never had an artwork arrived damaged this way.

Tip: storing your rolled artwork
If you need to store your artwork for a little while before its framed (or the house reno completes in a billion years) leave it standing upright in a cool and dark place. Try not to lay it flat on the ground long ways for extended periods of time.

Will a sold-out print be restocked?

Nope — once an edition is sold out, it’s gone forever. If there’s a particular piece you love, we recommend joining the mailing list for upcoming releases.

What is Cotton Rag / Fine Art Paper?

📢 Sound on for the video explainer.

A really crappy name for such a premium product. The colour pigmentation and details are second to none. The weave of the paper is so fine that it captures all the little details. Perfect for sizes under 900cm, but also beautiful in larger sizes.

There will be a limitation in how large of a piece of glass you can have from your framers. After that, you'll need to go with a perspex option. We use perspex as standard when framing your fine art paper print, because we cannot ship glass. We have framing partners across Australia who can frame for you in glass, and you can collect.
Just reach out to ask us how.
